I went back to HOI4 and started a game as Germany. I do the German-Soviet technology treaty, but in Jan 1937 it seems that despite the info. in the focus box saying there's a two year research bonus, the number of days for research box says there isn't.
I am playing without the latest 'tank designer' DLC, but the focus box suggests the 'base game' bonus would still apply.
