German Infantry Spritepack XXL

It's the fourfh German spritepack for HOI3 SF , there is another great powers but with no pack like france,uk, italia , usa,japan with one spritepack. others great powers are important in the game.In hope new packs in the futur for this countries

Yeah that's my one tiny complain with this pack, already have a half dozen packs for Germany how about a little more love for the other nations.

but you already have panzers from the previous german spritepack.

But from the looks of things, this will replace the tank sprites with sprites for their crew instead - note that in one of the pictures there is a soldier in a panzer uniform...

I don't think that this will replace the tank sprites, The first infantry spritepack also replaced only sprites which where represented by "infantry sprites" like the armored car or the anti air units.....

and this is like I interpret what Rost3D wrote some posts above:

No, this spritepack will fill gabs of the German infantry sprites. This spritepack will add multilevel sprites for ALL (87 pcs.) german researched "Infantry Models" of the game from 1934 until 1944 (e.g. tank destroyer in the game are represented by an infantry sprite 3d model, because they are only support brigades of 1000 men....) But it is planned to make some more sprites for halftracks and mobile infantry , as soon as possible.... (also other nations are planned for this project)

Hi everyone! Just for clarification: I already have the german spritepacks (Infantry, German I & German II) that were and are available at Gamersgate up til now. Does this new Mega-Spritepack make the already existing ones obsolete or do they only add new content? I jst want to know if I have to uninstall the other "older" German spritepacks. Hope you can clarify things for me here.... Greetz!!!

they will overwrite the sprites from the old german infantry pack...nothing else
And you dont need do uninstall

I like the sprites...but they are not sooo various as it was announced (well i only watched the german_infantry sprites so far)
I can see no difference between a 1936 Infantry and a 1938,1939,1944 one....

Also - the Pack should be named German Mega INFANTRY Spritepack - the title is a bit misleading and one probably assumes
it will also add tank,aircraft and ship sprites

Last negative point - : I need to set the Multisample to 8 to have them on nearly same quality like the original ones...with the old sprites i can run the game with multisample 0 and see no "edges"

There seems to be a major bug I allready noticed with the last new patch!! With the new patch the sprites doesn't change with the new technology.... After saving and reloading the game it works and the recent sprites are shown. Would be fine, if Paradox can solve this bug....

If that is true i will take back all my critics.

But still can see no difference between a 1936 and a 1944 infantry (probaby they simply just differ not much)
I hope the other troops vary a bit more.

p.s.

But all in all the sprites are nice...finally i see a difference between Infantry and Garrison and Militia
and soldiers salute -

My infantry units are all looking different. I have made a screenshot of the infantry units like they are looking in my game with the new mega pack now.

my 1944 looks like the 1936...
mabye i need to uninstall the german infantry pack I ?

p.s. no i guess i am just stupid -

i started the 1944 scenario and germany does not have 1944 infantry yet.
Now i will research it and look

I've installed it so, that the files were put into the gfx\anims and into the \interface folder. I've installed over the "old" infantry pack.
So I built up my new researched units to see if they have got new sprites....and it woks.
Maybe you have not intalled into the correct folders?

nah it was just my stupidity...that germany had not invented the 1944 infantry tech in the 44' scenario... -
And the other infantries look very simular except the 1938 one...

however, since the game ends 1947 i see no cold war sprite pack for the future.

i play DIG..installed the megagermansprite pack....and...some soldiers of some countries like hungary or luxemburg appear...like GHOSTS...hehehe...messe up...any solution?
