AWESOME!!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you... these add that little extra flair to the game that keeps me immersed..

I have one critique, for the 41 infantry (especially because of the bulk of the war is with '41 infantry).. he looks like a modern day soldier because of the gun - what is he carrying? The all black finish makes it look like a modern assault rifle with a scope.. ? The front shape looks like an mp44, but in 1941?

How about a typical german landser in grey-green tunic with a k98 and helmet? I have some great illustrations for reference if you need anything?

the planes are looking gorgeous as well. I cant wait I'm almost wanting to stop playing until these are out, hehe!

@ Billy Sometimes i retouch the guns to make em sharper and visible. It does look like a cool gun hey but i may have strayed off a bit in my enthousiasm. o If you have neat material please show it to me

Tnx for all the nice comments and no i wont release till completly finished. I am nearing the end and thats when it gets harder (planes are often prototypes only like the he 274)

Please tell me which He 274 you like and want in the release plz Blue or Brown?

Oh, I like my jet, it is just that all pictures of other rocket fighters that I have been searching gor (to give you 'material') are fotographed from beneath (the photographer was probably crouching besides it)

I did find however a very kewl Arado 555 Jet High Altitude Bomber (Never build) It bloody looks like a stealth fighter. Was amazed the Germans actually had this design 45 years earlier then the Americans

Those Luftwaffe aircraft are simply beautiful. I can't wait until I can download them (but I hope it's in time for the war!).

The only thing I don't like about the whole set is the '41 Infantry model, he does look like a modern day soldier but he also appears to be wearing a baseball cap type hat, which isn't something I'd expect a German Wehrmacht soldier to be wearing in 1941.

I actually liked your first (unpublished?) '41 dirty winter model better, because it looks more like a German soldier (because of the helmet, and weapon) and the second one (the published one) looks more like an American commando.

Personally i dont mind the 41. It might be the only glitch i had. Somewhere above i already gave info on it. But ofc i u guys / girls want a more historical one i can make a patch set when i am done with the Luftwaffe (11 planes to go) and a 3 week break

Holland, I have found several color pictures of most of the missing aircraft on the net simply by searching on Google. Most of them has the aircraft in the right pose too, a few of tjem can be brought into the right pose by mirroring it.

Done with making the planes. I need to finish them up now, test them, make sure they are reflecting the right model blabla. Still a few days work but release is nearing fast now!

I think you should apply some camo to the Ju 287 to make it look less like a cruise missile.

Holy guacamole! I started looking at this thread by accident (was realy looking for counters, not icons), good thing I did cause this is realy great stuff!

Btw what happens if you install these sprites, will you see them for any nation you play, or only if you play Germany?
