March 27: Started work on the SU ground units

RELEASED March 19 2005

** General Airfield for HOI2.
** German Luftwaffe completly remade with high quality colored pictures.

It has been a hell of a job doing this. It was one big fight to maintain as much detail as i could and to maintain the designs which where so unique in the German Luftwaffe. I made some very good icons and some less but personally i think the average quality is good enough to let you judge for yourself. I really hope it will enhance your gaming experiance together with my other German units. This project took me more then 120 hours OMG i am crazy!

So guys and girls have fun with them and enjoy!

These are screenshots of my work. The actual .bmp originals are better (sharper) of quality. Some quality got lost transforming to .gif compression. The original .bmp's will be the ones who are released.

Re edited my HOI 1 harbour for use with HOI 2 (Done)

Well while i was at it i remade and re edited my land-sea fort to be used with HOI 2 (Done)

Kriegsmarine: (Done) Theres not much i can do better then to use the default icons. Ships are simply to big to fit into the space without loosing all detail. Ofc you could profile them but then they get very tiny (width) and very big(lenght) creating problems in other screens like build and or queu. However i have tried to add some turrets, lenghten the dd a bit and to maintain likeness to my other icons.

I am still not far enough to release them. A lot of land icons i still have to make and allong the way i hope quality will improve. Maybe in one or two weeks i will be confident enough hehe Especially the smaller tanks will be difficult to maintain sharpness and details. If only Johan had made the icon bmp a bit bigger Guess he likes to torture us hehe

That parafatso is the funniest thing I've seen all day. He looks like a ready-for-action garden gnome. The others are quite good, though it would be hard to make a matching set for all nations.

1-2-3-4 is the order of development.
