Hello
I played EU4 I think it is a brilliant game thank you for your work, more Historical accuracy would be great as game progress but that is not the point why I’m writing here today, I’m from Country of Georgia, when I started to play regions were set up all wrong but its Ok the main problem I had is that Caucasian Mountains in Reality (historically) were a big obstacle for trade or Army, Armies have marched around Caucasian Mountains from cost of Caspian sea as did traders and travelers. In Georgian history we called Caucasian mountain our northern wall, because no army could have attacked us from there. If Alps around north Italy are blocking troops movement why Caucasian mountains don’t block Georgian northern border as it did and does even today, it just really bothers me as it is very historically and geographically inaccurate as Caucasian mountains are higher than Alps and more Dangerous. Thank you for your work again and I hope this will help you to improve the game in future.

Alps don't block movement. The only mountains that do are represented as wastelands, but while it may fir to himalayas (very sparce population), I don't think thats a good representation of caucas.

The concept of impassable walls between provinces exists in Crusader Kings II, but not in this game unfortunately. It might not be a simple job to do though, since they have the whole world to consider if they implement it.

Yep. That's a valid point to consider. Not just in the Caucasian Mountains, but in all over the world. If you look at today's european borders, you'll tend to see that many of them where defined in major natural obstacles (rivers and mountains). The Alpes separate Italy from France; the Pireneos separates Spain from France. Maybe there should be implemented a new attrition rule for large obstacles. I don't believe that in the 1400's an army could cross through a major obstacle without taking major casualties due to the nature of the obstacle itself. But while teching up that attrition should be softer.

Not until the AI has been taught to cope with the existing attrition mechanics adequately. (It's better than it was, but it's still nowhere near good enough.)
