Geographic hiccups!

Not played Vicky 2 in a while, but I quite like the red England use in EU3. Even better would be a really bold, bright red, like Coca-Cola cans, Royal Mail vans or, of course, the background of the traditional CoA. Not pinky-red, not orangey-red, but RED, proper loud and proud red like a poppyfield in full bloom, the blood of the French knights left on the field of Agincourt, or the spanked arse of a flirty strumpet in a harbourside pub

For England, yes. For the British Empire, no. That is because for Vicky 2 Paradox clearly took their cue from contemporary maps, which depicted the British Empire with pinky-red as a colour.

Seeing as Great Britain as a nation didn't exist until 250 years after CK's timeframe, I don't see how it's relevant. What exactly is your point?

He made clear why the color is different in Vicky 2 compared to EU3. And why it should be red for CK2!

Paradox doesn't care whatever maps are correct or not. They never did.

VicII map was quite good. Except, of course, the parts which were not (Alaska is quite funny in all fo their games, but CK2 will not have it).
