Pops you are purging, devouring, etc. don't take up housing or amenities. The crime/stability problems they cause made it easier to just resettle them all onto one planet. It also has one of the most insane benefits of the new population system: you get the full value of the total population being devoured but the size only goes down 1 pop at a time.

I'd be surprised if devs intended to have any planet to have the ability to host unlimited amount of undesirable pops, so I'd say enjoy it while it lasts ;) Actually looking at that planet I do feel the desire of going to a buffet :D

I mean, destroying your own economic resources on purpose is rarely going to be terribly productive.

You need 3 pops to purge a planet? Look at these guys they have 0 founding species pops and they are still purging.
I took took all of their planets except one and that planet is a recently conquered primitive world.

The purge is still ongoing though. I plan to rescue those pops and after reviving residence rights they will oversee the purge of those purifiers.

Well yeah, I'm purging the whole galaxy now, not bothering to micro it anymore. Some planets are purging with no robot overseers at all. I'm hoping somebody rebels somewhere. Hasn't happened in 10 years, though.

Which is why I made this thread in the first place.

So do purifiers need more bounuses from purifying to compensate for the loss of labour? Purely gamewise? Or should that be the price they pay for having lots of extra space for their own people's.

I'm only asking as POPs are powerful now, so will fully losing them would handicap you so much.

Aren't livestock and processing different status for species different?
