Yes the inherit chance of congenital traits are better now. I've been even seeing two of these... when I married my genius sister (marry_anyone cheat) I had a genius inbred daughter, lol.

Also, if you use the "charinfo any" cheat, it is now possible to see the DNA of the characters...

Along with the uber traits, I am seeing a lot of possession and stress. I also had a kinswoman who bore an imbecile and quick betrothed her to an enemy. They had 2/3 imbeciles last I looked. I think these kids are my new weapons of targeted destruction. :p

All traits with Heart-shaped background icon are genetic

Not quite. All traits with GREEN or BLUE/PURPLE heart shaped icons are genetic. RED heart shapes are illnesses. Some can be inherited, but not because they're genetic.

Also, genetics has definitely been more likely to pass one traits now. Also, appearance. I should post my dynasty on here, you'll freak out at all the bald, treble chinned guys in it. There is definitely a family resemblance.

in my empire of brittania game i had a daughter that was a dwarf so i decided to see how far i could take it so i married her to another dwarf and all their kids were dwarfs, now its 3 generations later and my character has 6 kids 2 arent dwarfs, and all my grandkids are dwarfs. so most of the royal family of england and ireland are dwarfs now even though they split over 100 years ago.

I'm currently playing a Vermandois-Valois-France game and France and Iberia is being filled with dwarf-Karlings. It didn't even happen on purpose, the trait just entered the bloodline and I couldn't be bothered to erm clean up the bloodline.

I finally (dang Italian breeding) came across inbred but don't quite understand it. I actually set the two up as there wasn't much choice but they aren't even on the same branch of the dynasty tree. Poor kid becomes incapable and dies. Now I've seen some matches too close for comfort with the AI on one side or the other...did it just catch up somehow?

This happens sometimes due to the limited number of letters and combinations in the DNA of the characters.
