LOL. Spain, unified, has an industrial strength of... 2.

Just read another thread and saw that 0 IC provinces can't be upgraded. So if Spain has only 2 IC at the start date that means only two or three provinces have the IC capability. Not much fun playing a Spain game then.

In the first SS you see the factories in the top right corner? 0/0. In the second one: 0/2. So Spain united had an IC of 2 (apparently) and before unting has an IC of 0...

Yeah the 2 IC for the entire spain seems a bit too low even if they were in the middle of the civil war especially when you compare it to 192 IC of france. I mean the french economy was obviously much better than spanish but the spanish potential should not be so low. At least have their IC at 0 out of 50 or something. That potential would be a more realistic number if french maximum IC is 192.

Sorry guys. The screenshots were generated only today, from loading up the two save games I had lying around.

The IC number at the top is a calculated figure. It takes one day of game play for it to be correctly calculated. So as a result the two IC numbers at the top are completely wrong, because the game hadn't even been taken off of pause yet when the screens were taken.

So you have some very good eyes, but it's nothing to worry about.

Think they called it Lissabon althought should have been Lisboa :p

I had no transports, and no tehnology to build them, so I didn't feel like waiting a year to research the tech, build the transports, just to take out the last remaining Republican province. The war was obviously over.

I think the in Germany it's Lissabon, and in nordic countries they use Lisabon. Oh well I can live with it as long as it’s a good game.

I didn't feel like continuing it - mostly because of the need to get that one lonely Republican outpost, plus there was a new beta patch out.

I know this is kind of old, but I felt compelled to comment:

Isn't that a bit like saying "It's better to have been kicked in the balls than to never have had your balls touched at all?"

Sorry, I just don't like the whole "'Tis better to have . . ." quote.

Yeah, basically.

If you've loved and lost, at least you tried. At least you had a chance at love.

Whereas if you never loved at all, you'd never have had a chance at any sort of life or happiness apart from spending all of your free time playing EU & HoI... where was I going with this?
