Can you play as Brazil?

I was wondering if in Hearts of Iron you can plays as Brazil, because in Europa Universalis 2 you can play as Brazil. I'm from there.

Yep, you can. Although it usually gets conquered by Argentina before 1938

I sure hope so, because it would be meaningless to spend over 200 reais in a game if it didn't let you crush the argentinians with our mighty armed forces. Hmmm... i wonder how long would it take to develop a brazilian nuke...

The Mighty Brazilian Army

Brazil is going to change history in Hearts of Iron, they are going to conquer ALL of South America, that's what I'm going to do when I play the game. Hehe. Let's conquer Argentina! Who's with me?

Playing the obvious winner is cheesy. Try someone who is going to have difficulty (Venezuela, Chile), or needing all the luck they can get times ten (Uruguay... I dare you... highest difficulty settings).

Seriously. You're a human. Don't tell me you need the biggest country on the continent to beat the AI.

What if South America went to war in HOI?

Well... Then Argentina would conquer Peru, Brazil would conquer Suriname, French guiana and Uruguai, then Brazil would invade Paraguay and then Invade Argentina and Destroy their soccer team ( who by the way, got humiliated at the 2002 world cup, hahahahaha Brazil won) and then destroy their capital and annex the rest of the country. ITS A FACT!

My confession about Argentina

I am about to say the truth about what I really think about Argentina, so be ready to learn the truth.


I have no problem with Argentina, I just like to make the game more interesting to play by having a big feud with one particular country, like in soccer with Brazil and Argentina, I don't hate them.
