Hi!

I think religions are a thin shell of what it could have been. Mainly these are things bothering me:
  • Randomly generated higher priesthoods. Even most religious heads are randomly generated!! Seeing a lowborn moroon as Coptic head is very immersion breaking for me.
  • Priest are just like Mayors - just not as rich. How else do they matter?
  • Only Catholics and Fraticelli have a [thin] hieracy stair.
  • Events.. Or the lack of events with any real impact. Coronation in HF might change how religions are affecting the game.

Here is a short list of rather easy improvments that probably could be quite general for most religions with a theocracy class, IE non muslim. They are written with christian religions with a head in mind and some of the suggestions might be limited to such.
  • Common simple tasks from religious elite - for example to provide a good Bishop before the modifier expires. could start an eventchain alike to the "Find court fysician" or simply do the "Invite Holy man". Should be a easy thing copying the concept of the current convert heretics task.
  • Open the "Nominate Bishop" for all(well... not all ofc..). And change it to matter. A good priest - subject you should earn Piety to send to the head, a bad should cost you, as now. Such logic exists in the china interactions for sending eunucs or concubines.
  • Investiture for all. "open" sucks for priest, specially on higher tier than baron. Just limit the law to equevelt of "Papal" and don't show it where not applicable.
  • There should be all tiers of priest in a bigger realm. This the head should demand with a task, one tier up at the time untill it reaches ducal tier.
  • The biggest proposal - All higher tier than baron tier is inherited by a lower tier priest. IE a count tier priest is inherited by the best suited baron priest, a duke tier priest is inherited by the best suited Count tier or below, a king tier priest is inherited by a duke tier or below(A tweak of the Cardinal/papal score calculation can be used. Prestige should matter to reflect a degree of corruption. All priest in the top - realm is qualified to these calculations)
  • Religious heads as well should work a simplified way of how Catholics does. This gives a head with some "experience" and a tale to tell.
