I post this thread here because it's the support forum. I don't know if it just tech support, but if it is then you may move it where you want it.....If you want it:D

It seems rather pointless to play as a minor who doesn't really participate in any war. I play as Sweden and the main event that happens to me is the Finnish Intervention thingie. I can't remember the two options available but one was to just send material and the other was to join hand with out fellow brother or something. Well In both cases (as it happened twice) I took hold hands with the finnish guy (Uhh what :D) well I thought that this would mean going to war against SU when they attack....well it didn't so I thought that it meant that I will only go to war when they attack a province where I had soldiers situated...It didn't mean that either, because when they attacked they just fought the finnish soldiers and left mine alone. My triggerhappy mind was itching like hell by now so I declared war on SU. We (Finland and Sweden) kicked the SU out of Finland and even captured Murmansk, Kola and some other minor province. I thought that this would do fine as the SU had their hands full with both germany...who had reached Moscow together with Latvia (   ) and Japan who they battled in the very eastern provinces of SU. But SU would not sign the treaty...I just wanted peace with no territorial claims. So now the game start to get really boring.

By 45 or something I had over 100 in Diplomatic Influence (hereby DI) and I couldn't do anything with it. I don't know how high the DI can get nor how it works in the system. But I thought that germany would be rather happy when we helped out in Finland against SU. I have voted right all the time and have selected answer him in the event where a politician has dubious political thoughts and I move my allignment 10 towards fascism and 20 toward democracy, so I was rather close to both camps (allied and Axis) but I couldn't join neither of the two alliancies. How can you control what types of actions improve my relations with a pact?

Even earlier, just after my victory in Finland though not official because of they did not sign the peace treaty, I decided to develop my own industry and my own military so I could enter the war with the possible chance of actually surviving. The only problem here was that I couldn't build industries in Gotland and Öland (islands), why? I stoped developing my industy when I reached 90 or so IC. (this includes improvments on infrastructure) All that happened is that I got a very high demand of raw material. It seems I can't increase my raw material production. this leads to only one way of action.....WAR. Isn't there a way to increase your daily production of raw material?? If the only way to increase your production of raw material is going to war and conquering lands then this is a pretty simple minded game. And playing a minor won't achieve anything.

Stalemate

All of a sudden germany stopped her advance in SU somewhere just NW od Mongolia...I guess They ran out of supplies. but they just stood there without fighting for years. And the allies didn't take advantage of this by invading continental Europe...there was no D-DAy!!!! They just kept pounding the german industry with their bombers and lost all the time. The targeted also only two provinces Essen and Hamburg.

Transit request

germany asked me if they would be allowed to transport troops through Sweden... I kept saying no for 4 years!! They didn't threaten me or anything.... Talk about not taking no for an answer.

RM

To see the total usage of RM, should you add what your industry consumes with what is needed to produce IC? I can't figure this out. Sweden produces 185 units of Steel. The industry requires 93 units and IC 35 And I sold 138 units of steel...yet it rises and kept rising?? What up with that?

Troop transports

I included my transport ship I had in the fleet with my convoy fleet. I thought I wouldn't need it. They I needed it because I was bored and wanted to invade Denmark. But I couldn't produce another transport ship or add one from the fleet convoy which I really don't need. How can you use your convoy transport ships to transport my troops? Can you produce them....I've checked the tech screen but I can't see any tech allowing this.

The game ended with me invading Norway just to have something to do and that's it. No ending or anything. I hoped there would be a movie or something to end the whole thing.

Wow....Sigh......This is the longest post I've ever written. I hope you understand what I have written because I wont read it again...I'm exausted. I need supplies

Not really a support question, Try the GD to hash out these issues, then file a bug report on specific issues that the forum agreas need addressing.

Well minors don't do much, thats why they're minors :D

How can you control what types of actions improve my relations with a pact?

I don't know if minors can influence majors but if they can you might want to influence the leader of the alliance you want to join.

It seems I can't increase my raw material production. this leads to only one way of action.....WAR. Isn't there a way to increase your daily production of raw material?? You can trade for resources you need. Each IC you use costs you 2 coal + steell + 1/2 rubber so the more IC you're using the more RM you'll need.

Sorry, but once a transport enters convoy land its there to stay. You should be able to build transports on the build foltilla screen. There is a tech that allows them, not sure what field its in though.

The game ended with me invading Norway just to have something to do and that's it. No ending or anything. I hoped there would be a movie or something to end the whole thing.

Finished because it got to 1948? You should have at least got a victory points screen. Play as a major next timer for a more exciting game :)

Well, (slightly) better than nothing, no? Im surprised no one else has answered you, theres normally a beta on hand...

Maybe it's just so damn long my post so they don't have the energy of reading it through...... I think there are some questions here that needs to be answered or at least where (if these issues has been addressed before) I can find the answers.

well I'm waiting patiently as it says I am supposed to to. The etticacy (is that a word or is it swenglish) says I should.
