We regularly receive request from people wanting to participate in beta testing for our games. Here are some general advice and information on how you could become a tester:
First of all: Beta testing is something we do to ensure the quality of the game both technically and gameplay-wise. We will select testers that we trust can help us in this work, providing valuable feedback and bug reports that can be used. Beta testing is not a way to just let people play the game ahead of everyone else (not usually at least).
How to know there is a beta test going on: Check out the forum for that game here at paradoxplaza. If there is a beta test for which we are looking for participants I almost dare to promise you there will be a sticky thread about it in said forum. If there is none, you can feel quite sure asking for beta keys etc is rather pointless. If there is an active test, or one about to start, you will most likely find a link to a signup where you can report your interest.
How to increase your chance to be picked for a beta test: Being an active member of the forums is a big plus as it usually gives us a good picture of who you are and what your relation to our games is. If you participated in a previous test and shown you are capable of providing us with good feedback, that is the biggest merit you can have.
So in short:

- Follow the forum rules
- Be nice
