This game was not play tested enough. The hype was misleading. Led to believe one could play from 1914 -1990.

1936 Campaign
1.USA diplomatic sliders don't work

2.USA can't give tecnologies to allies or puppets

3.Anti-tank units can be built but not assigned todivisions

4.Pearl Harbor attack- When a unit is lost every unit in that fleet is lost also. If the Arizona is at San Diego you could lose every ship there. My entire navy was eliminated

5.It is impossible for the US to research a balanced armed forces.

The diplomatic sliders aren't available to change until 1942, but many events change them before then.

In the Auto Control settings, the default is to give allies blueprints automatically. It may be that the US has already given them the blueprints, so they don't show up as available to give.

I know there is a bug regarding the icon for anti-tank units.

From my experience, Pearl Harbor severely damaged some ships but did not eliminate them.

By investing in research using the decisions (4000 bucks gets you 2.5% increase in research speed) I was able to increase research speed to 119% in 1940, resulting in a balanced armed forces.

5.It is impossible for the US to research a balanced armed forces.

1. WAD, you can change on Jan 1 1942, but not until then.

2. Once you join the allies you give and get techs. If you set auto sliders on then this happens automatically and when you go to manually do it there are none left to give.

3. I assume you mean mobile Anti-Tank units? I believe the Icon is missing.

4. I have played this USA about 12 times, never has the whole fleet gone unless you happen to have just the ships listed in the event in the fleet.

5. It is easy to do so but not if you want to research all the techs. Limit yourself to artillery, Infantry, and Armour on the land forces side, which means no to Mobile AT, Artillery (not worth it anyway), maybe Airborne if you want a little fun. Also realize that you research faster if the tech is already past the date so catching up is possible to get balanced forces. Only research what you really need/want to use, you can not research everything, it is just not possible. As the USA you can stop researching Naval techs once you have 1940 level air carrier (you do not even need this), you will never finish building the units until much later, anyway. Destroyers you can stop at 41, light cruiser can be left at is, same for Battleships, and Heavy Cruisers. You can skip subs entirely if you want. Just research the torpedo and then build them for your subs.

By the way what version are you playing?
