I feel like that there aren't nearly enough 'bad traits' for Generals and Admirals. Generals being substandard was a pretty big part of world war 2, and giving generals both good and bad traits would force the player to think more about who is commanding their armies in my opinion.

I'm good with general incompetence and the like, so long as we don't go the Rome Total War route and end up with Generals becoming raging alcoholics and/or sexual deviants because they spent too long in the same city. :p

I actually would like to see more stuff like Rome TW. The traits are now all too predicable and every General gets the same ones because they all fight in forests, hills, etc. So every General starts to rack up points in the same 5 traits. Bleh. Boring. I'd like to see about 20 traits, some of which you can get through combat, some of which are random and yes, some of them which are negative. If you look at the Generals from all the nations in the era quite a few of them fell out of favor for one reason or another.

I can appreciate wanting more traits and that's fine by me. But I don't like negative traits especially random ones. It's bad enough having no bonuses, that's negative enough. I prefer the system being about finding the best officer and rewarding you more for getting it right instead of punishing you for getting it wrong. Positive systems are where we should b.

Perhaps some mixed traits would be good though, that give both bonus and malus. Naturally players would attempt to minimize the impact of the malus while still getting use of the bonus.

HoI 4 Black ICE has a ton of general/field marshal traits
I'm sorry, but I refuse to take seriously traits named: awesome_general_trait, bad_general_trait :p (I would understand if those would be during the hasty release of mod when the mod was first released, but come on, it is over half a year later and those are still in...

(Though incostincency and how lazy a lot of stuff looks in Black ICE is quite common though :p)
