Genderless / Monogendered races

This may be a strange request, but would it be possible during empire creation to have your people be genderless or mono-gendered? Let's say I want to play as a xeno that reproduces asexually, or a race that is all male or all female, and they can reproduce with the opposite gender of any other race(sometimes with consent, other times under... less pleasant circumstance). It may not even have to be about reproduction, maybe they have both sexes but their culture simply only allows one gender for leadership. This could open up some interesting events/research/policy options later to have it changed so that both genders are allowed to rule. This could also have an influence on your relationship with other empires.

Considering that pretty much all non-humans use the same portrait for both sexes, and that in the new patch we can design our own leader titles, this feels like sort of a next logical step.

Having the ability to create an all-male empire may or may not be more triggering than the current binary-gender-only system.

That aside, creating a custom hermaphroditic/asexual species would be a welcome opportunity for more rp and flavor. Gendered fungi don't really make much sense.

Depending on the species of fungus they can have between 0 and 3600 genders. Fungus reproduction is weard.

This is something I mentioned in another thread about species options of dioecious (male and female individuals) vs asexual/hermaprhoditic features or empire options of patriarchal, matriarchal, or balanced policies.

I also feel the lack of sexual dimorphism in the portraits. I know this is not something that occurs in all species, but it would be nice to have that option.

"Immersion" is the key word.
