Gearing bonus numbers

I have serial runs going and in my production screen I tend to see a ratio or number such as 0/24 or something of that sort. What exactly does that mean? Am I not getting a gearing bonus for some reason? I have runs that have already produced units and I am stopping them at 8 units or so, so I don't understand what this ratio relates to. Thanks

Current gearing bonus for this run / Maximum bonus when at full Gearing.

I think he might be referring to how far that production run is progressing. 0/24 would mean that 0 out of 24 units have been produced, and you can see that as soon as you open the production screem.

You can also get a gearing tooltip whose last line reads
Gearing bonus x/y
which for 0/24 would means that there has been no gearing so far but you could get a maximum gearing bonus of 24. That tooltip also tells you when the next item of that run will finish.

I dont play the reds too often but their drafted army/standing army slider I think is all the way to drafted, which means that you can get quit alot of gearing bonus's, you wouldnt see full gearing bonus's until after the 10th run. Its a 5% increase for each unit in the run so to get a 50% gearing bonus you would need a run of 10 or longer.

35% with no modifier.
25% at full Standing Army.
