Hello,
I have a couple of questions about the AI's implementation of the "garrison" order.
1) How does the AI separate the garrison ordered units, i.e. are a larger portion sent to provinces which hold more value (such as major cities, ports, airfields etc.)?
2) As the player, if I select a collective group of regions to garrison that are separated by water (islands, etc), will the AI successfully transport the units across the water itself or do I need to manually assign different garrisons to those regions not connected by land?
3) What, if anything (difficulty setting, agressive/defensive stances) will determine how the AI controlled nations use the garrison order, i.e. will they always have their units garrisoned unless pushing/defending a particular front?
I know garrison was mentioned but I couldn't find any specifics regarding these questions.
Cheers
