EU IV vets probably know this already, but discovered this a few days ago. Basically a quick way to end wars against overwhelming targets against someone like France is to look at their "Enemies" and "Rivals" in the diplo screen. Then get request military access from all of them and offer a peace to France to annul treaties with them. Easy and cheap way to end wars without having to pay hundreds of ducats or other material concessions if you're losing.

Eg: France is rivals with Spain, Austria and GB.
France is enemies (other nations who have rivalled France) with Netherlands, Denmark and Russia.
You are Savoy. Get MA from all 6 nations and offer to annul treaties with France for a total of +60 to the warscore concession.

Works well with peacing out junior partners in a war too. I have literally ended wars within 3 months of them starting this way.

Hope this is helpful and not (too) gamey.

The Warscore Cost for annulling treaties should be based on what treaties are actually in effect.
Military Access or Fleet Basing = 1
Guarantee or Warning = 5
Alliance = 10

Possibly modified by opinion. If two countries have been allies for the past 3 centuries it should be harder to break them up.
