Games crashes after 5 hours of play

Today I bought Imperator. I've had 4 hours of fun (via Steam on Mac) but now the game crashes every few minutes. Steam won't refund the money, because I've played for more than two hours. But I literally can't play the game. Can you please help me out?

I can send you the crash report in a seperate message. Don't want to post it here, because it provides all kinds of info on my computer setup, and I don't want that online publicly.

I updated my MacOS today, and tried the game again, hoping it would make a difference. But the game crashed again after 5 minutes of running. I now run MacOS 10.15.4. I checked if the game crashes on a specific date, but it seems to crash randomly. Also there is no specific action that triggers the crash. I am really hoping that Paradox will help me with this.

just after the game crash, can you check in Paradox/imperator/log, at the end of the war.log and game.log, do you see similar event?
