Have you tried asking over at the GG part of the Forums?
maybe someone over there will be able to cancel the order as it is a pre-order so there might be some leeway if you explain the mistake

On another note concerning the map, did anyone notice the small circle province in Denmark (possibly Holstebro)? Seeing as it is not placed where Esbjerg is (became the maritime center of commerce in Denmark doing the period, has since declined), I can not see why it would deserve a province in itself.

Then I wish they'd stop marring the map with only a handful of nations marked. Either all or nothing I say

As far as the time-frame is concerned, the 10 countries they marked are "all" and the rest of the countries are "nothing." It is a flavor map (setting the tone) and not a game reference.

I was under the impression I was ordering a box, PHYSICAL, copy, like you would from amazon, or similar sites.

Well digital is way better than physical, so this isn't that big of a deal after all. And if/when they make an expansion, I guess it will be digital distribution only like HttT and SF. So get used to it.

Its not good that the co.uk adress was the first one linked here. We have that the co.uk adress cause some of our other partners requires it. But we try to send everyone to the .com site.

Thanks for the feedback, I am one of the stupid ones that bought the UK version instead of the US. I've already contacted GG support yesterday and am awaiting a reply.

Anyway, Mr Capitalist is probably talking about P'Dox games, which are are always 500MB-1GB, and assuming server load isn't bad and he's exaggerating slightly, isn't outside of the realms of possibility.

Also, I'm slightly disappointed in the map only showing the major states, mainly because I was hoping for a final, definitive reference source for divvying up Germany in our massive now-moved-to-other-forums MP game (I'm Hanover).

Then again, now I'm more happy that I went with digital purchase, the main appeal for a store-bought box would've been a nice, good-quality map (some games years and years ago had cloth maps...).

Can't comment on V2 but the EUIII map just looked ugly with a few powers highlighted and the rest of the map empty

I've never purchased from gamers gate before so I have no clue what sipping will cost. Can anyone enlighten me?
