Now that we're getting Steam keys for our Gamersgate CK2 items, this may become an issue for me.

I purchased some DLC through the in-game menu, with Blue Coins, at Gamersgate. Unfortunately those purchases never showed up in my Games list on Gamersgate for download. They still show up fine on the in-game store menu and download through that.

So this will cause a serious problem if we are to be issued Steam keys through Gamersgate as those will show up in our Games list on their website, where these purchases are not showing for me.

Will our Steam keys show up in the in-game 'Store' too? Or will I need to jump through some hoops? If this has happened to me, there may well be other people out there with the same problem.

I also purchased CK2 in-game DLCs with Blue Coins (they don't show up in my GamersGate account) and share Nefaro's concern.

What do you mean? Does Paradox already know what DLCs we bought from the ingame store? That would be very relieving.

The following is the reply I got from Gamersgate support. Evidentally a purchase on the in-game store doesn't send any info back to Gamersgate, despite having to use your Gamersgate login for it.

Support said:
The DLC purchased in the in-game store is not part of your GamersGate library and does not show up there. Only the DLC bought at GamersGate becomes part of your GamersGate library.

I can't imagine that Paradox would leave customers who bought in the in-game shop out in the cold though. I do not how how the intended transition to Steam is planned to work, or even if it's really going to take place (the announcement so far is that of a strong intention, but not yet a "we will definitely do this"), but I don't think that you will need to get your DLC registered in the GamersGate library in order to get it transferred to Steam.

So does this mean that Paradox runs the in-game store for them? I dunno. This is probably one of those 'technical' issues they'll have to finger out.

Paradox wish to address this please ? Bit much to not even have somoene acknowledge this ?
We in Tech Support have nothing to do with these matters. I don't even work for Paradox, just volunteer. So we're not in a position to comment either way. I suggest you start a fresh thread in the main CK2 forum on this specific topic, and/or log a formal ticket at paradox.zendesk.com

I really do wonder... I purchased quite a number of DLCs via the ingame store with Blue Coins... and all these DO show up in my Gamersgate games list.

Ok, it says that I can only access these from the ingame store... but they are listed.

Why is this different with me?
