Hi all,
So, I bought 2 copies of Crusader Kings 2, one for myself, and one for my friend. I went to download my copy of the game today and it says that the copy linked to my account is the liftable only version, which means apparently I sent the regular version to my friend. Here's my problem, when you attempt to gift a game a screen of your titles comes up, but it doesn't list which of the titles is giftable only. So I assumed the second copy was the giftable one. Now I can't play the game, I have no idea whether my friend can or not, and emails to Gamers Gate customer service have gone unanswered. It also doesn't make sense how I could gift the regular version of the game away I purchased for myself if they have the purchase links divided into "for Yourself" and "Give as a Gift". I assumed the first option would link the game directly to your account.
One would think that a publisher or distributor would make it as easy as possible for a customer to buy multiple copies of non DRM games due to piracy. I support Paradox, and own a considerable number of their games, and have bought multiple copies of their games through steam before without issue. Gamers Gate is the first time I've run into this, and it isn't a pleasant first time experience.
Anyone know a quicker way I can contact them? I thought GG was owned by Paradox? A phone number? Anyone?
