Gameplay issue in the Tutorial

Hello! I just bought this game last night and was learning how to play from the tutorial. All was going well and I managed to set up my first bus, tram and rail line with the default amount of money and become profitable. However, the game then asked me to complete a request where I was connecting a bus from this guy's house (in the upper right) to the metro station or something. I set up a new bus line as instructed. The problem is, the objective remained locked. I tried many things, including making his house and the requested destination the only stops. Nothing! I had to go to bed, so I never got to see this get completed. Do I have to wait for the bus to actually make a round and pick this guy up?

The only thing you need to make sure is that the two points are in a coverage of the bus stops (the circle aroundl the stop when build it)

Yes, I absolutely did this. If it should be registering immediately then I fear I encountered a bug. I will post a screenshot of this later if it doesn't resolve itself.

Both stops also need to be on the same bus line.
If nothing helps, try starting the tutorial from the beginning.

Thanks for the replies. The game counted the bus route the instant I loaded the game. I think it was a bug of some sort.

Also, a lot of these objectives don't trigger while paused.

I have just started playing Cities in Motion. In the Tutorial, I have reached the stage when i look at the bus details in the panel on the left. I do this and buy a bus; but i do not complete the task. I have looked at all the buses details; to no avail. I have started the Tutorials twice and reached the same block. Help?

I think you have to select the bus, then view its details by clicking the text icon on the lower right.

Did you buy it for the line, or for the vehicle depot?

Have now bought bus for depot and then added it to line. Task completed. Mnay thanks for help
