Hello, this is an idea for a possible official game mode or a mod for those who know how to do it. I was thinking about a game mode where the Requisition points are fixed with no income, so for instance, Phase A both sides (or depending on the Div) have 1000 RP, and they spend on Phase A and it will not regenerate. But as soon as they enter Phase B they get a new income of say now, 1500, and now must spend those again. I would love something like this because now your fielded units matter a lot more, the RP points can be customized by the player for more scarcity and such... I would surely comeback to play this game if this was implemented one way or another.

That's not really very different from how it is now, except in your method you get all the points up front instead of each minute. If you play a division with 75 points per minute in phase A you end up with 1250 points total (500 starting +750 over the 10 minutes of the phase) which matches pretty closely to your numbers. It wouldn't make your fielded units matter more because you'd get roughly the same amount of points but you'd be able to pour out a lot more at once when the phase changes over.

You can do something similar with a custom game now by increasing the starting points then decreasing the income. I don't think you can set the income all the way to 0 but you can reduce it a fair amount.

Personally I think having too many options is the main problem with this game. They shouldn't have added destruction mode because the game was never designed for that. The problem with Eugen is they try to please everyone and end up pleasing no one. Act of Aggression is a good case in point. Rather than continue development on their original vision, making a unique game with three resources and helping people understand how to play, they decide to create a "Reboot" edition with dumbed down resources. The end result was failure. Now we have another game which was designed for one purpose but being played otherwise (10v10 destruction). The phase system and frontline is pointless in these 10v10 destruction matches.

I don't say this for the numbers exactly, since those were just an example, but i think the phase income would make things more interesting, since you would have a limit of expenses determined right at the begging of the match would make the game a tad slower and, at least for me, more fun. But i do not ask that this would be something official, could be a mod, but i have no clue in how to make it one myself.

EE / AB: Designed for destruction, people play destruction, forumites complained they need conquest, conquest added, people ignored them.
SD: Designed for conquest, people play destruction, forumites complained they need to remove destruction, people ignored them.
see a pattern here ?
A lot of work went into making Conq playable, but it's still not FUN and it does not work in 10 v 10.
Just allow mixed team of Red and Blue and there will be a lot more 10 v 10s. As for game modes, hopefully we will see domination before long.
I had previously also posted making game types (dest, conq, econ) in the same game as objective, whichever team reaches one of them first wins.
of course Random forumite does not like that, they want a game designed for them, even if no one else plays it.

Interesting Idea which makes a lot more tactics with mass pushes possible (also exploids but thats okay for such game modes). I already can see me cringe because I havent got enough points left to get my ASF I desperatilly need to get the enemies bombers down because I invested to much in tanks. Yeah could be fun.

this exactly the thing, sometimes you just can't count with reinforcements, so you really gotta play it careful especially in Phase A since the enemy might overwhelm you, or go into a thight defense, you can't know, it opens some interesting tactical and strategic options
