Hi,

I got a 2018 laptop that was previously used as a work laptop. But since EUIV is now a few days older, I thought I could use it to play EUIV away from home.

I compared the system requirements of EUVI with the specifications and actually it should even meet the recommended minimum requirements.
Unfortunately, the game stutters massively and the days progress in the extremely slow.

The resolution is 1920x1080 in windowed mode on one of two 2560x1440 monitors.

Is it possible that one of the components is now too weak for EUIV or would it help to increase the RAM?

Thanks for your help

It's more likely the video system than memory; it looks like that machine only has an integrated Vega 8 video system, which is to say the video is done by the CPU rather than dedicated hardware.

All you can really do is reduce the graphics quality settings as much as you can stand - turn off trees, city sprawl, ambient objects, shadows etc. And run in fullScreen mode.

Good luck!
