Hey Guys I know I have seen this post once before but I cant remember the remedy. I reload a saved game and it stops at 1:00am everyday. Wasnt there an easy fix to this?

Hmm. Never seen it. It sounds like an specific "persistent" event is firing over and over again, without resolution, for some reason.

It think this because I did this to myself once while modifying an event. I don't know what the solution is, I siimply rewrote the offending event. Try removing the game from your hard drive. :D

But seriously... Happy New Year... Cyprian

Its 1 am in the game. But when I reload it and say start it again say at at may 3 6:00am 1942 it then stops at 6:00am everyday. So whatever time I reload the game at(game time) thats when it stops everyday. I think it is the "Ghost Fleet Bug" So that is what I think I need to fix. However, once I find these ghost fleets I am unable to merge them as there are like 4000 of them and when I go to SP to try and fix the game freezes.

Thanks Cyprian

Cue I will try to send it to you after you reply to this message as I have new info here and maybe it might jog something for someone with more info. Happy New Year to you as well my friend!!

the same thing happened to me with a game I was playing in single player, there was 2,600 ghost fleets in Australia. I have a really fast pc and the merging of the fleets took over 30 minutes before I just gave up and went to sleep for the night. when I woke up the next morning, they were merged and I saved the game. should work for you also if you just wait a really long time heh.

just a quick update I fixed the problem but I had to invade Australia to do it and knock out the fleets(I was UK). After that Canada started producing about 9 every 2 days and that gradually went up to now about 21 every 2 days. We just keep merging them every week or so but its a pain. Any idea if there will ever be another patch for Arm? I am not on here enough to have heard anyone talking about it.

Patch is coming soon apparently. However, there is a ghost fleet remover which does away with fleets, and the source of the fleets is undeployeable Naval brigades in the deployment queue. Australia is, as far as I can tell the worst offender, as is Netheralnds and Brazil. You can hunt down these pesky things in your save game file and delete them fairly easily.

This because undeployed Naval Brigades appear as "navaldivision" in your save. No other unit will do this, except when undeployed, which is rare with the ai. But since the ai can not deploy them they will appear in the save file under the heading "navaldivision." they will then look something like this:

navaldivision = {
id = { type = 4712 id = 183315 }
name = "AA"
model = 0
strength = 100.0000
organisation = 0.0000
morale = 30.0000
experience = 0.0000
defaultorganisation = 0.0000
redep_unit_name = ""
maxspeed = 0.0000
supplyconsumption = 0.1000
fuelconsumption = 0.0000
surfacedetectioncapability = 0.0000
airdetectioncapability = 1.0000
subdetectioncapability = 0.0000
visibility = 0.0000
seadefence = 0.0000
airdefence = 1.0000
seaattack = 0.0000
subattack = 0.0000
convoyattack = 0.0000
shorebombardment = 0.0000
airattack = 1.0000
transportcapability = 0.0000
range = 0.0000
distance = 0.0000
travelled = 0.0000
}

These can simply be deleted, whenever you find them. Just make sure they are not an undeployed ship, or a solo TP or DD, which has been deployed. which are, as I said, rare. Just skip through the file looking searching for "navaldivision" and kill them all off. They will probably appear again, but wont really be a hassle for a few years, at least.

Hmm that's interesting....Cueball did you say there is going to be a new patch soon? That should be a good improvement I would think.
