Ok I just tried to duplicate the same problem in sp. Everything went fine.

Only out of interest in figuring out what was going on, I then loaded up the save from last week and ran it long enough to perform an amphibious assault(where it was crashing today) and sure enough CTD.

So to see if it was my pc I loaded up the save in a different pc and did the same.. Ran just long enough to perform an amphibious assault and it crashed as well.

So I am blaming the save. Seriously if one of you guys want to load as the U.S. and run long enough to perform an amphibous assault I say go ahead. If you do, load up more than one corps(2 X 3 divs) onto some transports and try to move them amphibiously onto enemy land. On the left side of the screen is the box to choose between corps, click on one to bring up the divisions stats that make up the corps, that is when it is crashing.

if you load up and try it with this weeks saves, i believe there should be some tp's with troops in them in ishikiri bay(between the S.U. coast and japan just north of the main island.) That is where it was crashing today. Drag a box around the ships, click unload, then click a division on the left.

we should try to continue with 1.2...

hmm, could you try an amphibious assault with 1.2?

ok i just tryed what u said to see what happens. i selected the fleet with the tp's, clicked unloaad troops, then attacked the japan province. guess what? no crash!

i then loaded the troops back onto the fleets and invaded the mainland and again no crash!

i really cant understand why its crashin on your pc and not mine. what id say is try another clean install and then install patch 1.1.

id be prepared to update to patch 1.2 although i have read in these forums that patches arent save game compatible.

im free to play all day to today so if u guys wanna meet up then let me know, il keep my eye on the thread.

hmm, in our friday game we changed to 1.2 without any problems...someone tried to use our save with the patch? otherwise i will do it later...

With a fresh install. Deleted the entire paradox folder installed DD, then dd_1.3, then Arm, then 1.1.:

Then after I click where the mouse is at in the last pic.

All of my old sp saves are fine and new games I don't have any problems, so I don't know.
