Not necessarily. It looks like you have a lot more to do in Vic than in EU2. You have to compete for colonies, build more sophisticated infrastructure, manage trade in specific goods. I imagine a lot of the busy work can be automated somehow, but there looks like a lot of numbers to manage.
And even if it is a little shorter timewise, that's a plus for me, not a minus. I mean, how many GCs in EU2 do you ever actually play straight to the end? 85 years is a lot of time, time enough to do great deeds.
