Expect them to be reasonable. It's not that it's a demanding game for your 3D acceleratorGame runs as smooth, sometimes smoother, than EU II here
EU II ran just fine on XP with 249+/- RAM.Originally posted by Cobos
But as EU2 expect to need a fair amount of RAM (a lot more than most other games) like 196MB for Win98, 320MB for W2k and 512 for WinXP for smooth non-swapping operation. Also EU2 scales more or less linearly with CPU, i.e. the faster CPU the faster the highest time compression runs. But of course I'm only guessing based on EU2 and aiming for recommended specs not minimum here

I only had 2-3 since I've installed the patch...
Dark Knight, do you think that a 433 Mhz, 64 RAM could handle HoI?

It will be on the lower end when it comes to RAM but CPU wise there should be no problems at all...

I personally wouldn't be able to stand playing EU II with this amount of RAM. But then, I prefer to play at the maximum possible speed. Although HoI can be set to the same maximum speed as EU, it makes sense to play it at a much slower rate since it's more of a war game and covers 2.5% as much total time, so you should be fine.Originally posted by Murmurandus

Would it be roughly the same speed as with EUII? I have 64MB RAM as well. Would it be possible to play HoI with that amount of RAM?
It should definitely be possible.Originally posted by mh1419
