Game is decently speedy for me. Funny considering that CK2 has become unplayably slow for me in past few patches. But I'm glad this one runs fine.

Only complaint is that I really wish they would make Ironman saves 6 months like in CK2. Every month is just excessive.

Strange, CK2 runs perfectly fine for me but EUIV is laggy as hell.

Yes, slow 1.10 and 1.11. Used to a little UI lag in MP, but when SP starts acting similar there's a problem.

I really hope that they're working on making the Clausewitz Engine Multi-core capable. Letting EUIV use all CPU cores a person's PC has would drastically increase performance for a huge deal of the playerbase, I'm sure.

But, yes. EUIV has always been one of the slowest game I own, which is weird when you compare it to the other games that manage to run fine. And it's all just because of the stupid bottleneck of running all calculations through a single core.

I wondered if it was just my late HRE game with everything going on. However, starting a new game in the middle of Muscovy encountered the same issue. Slow speeds in speed 5.

Revert to 1.10.1. Restart Computer. Reinstall 1.11. Runs fine now.

Glad to hear it. I have no clue why it worked. Was just trying everything I could think of after the update slowed everything to a crawl.

Good news is that it did work. Bad news is that after playing for a while and exiting, steam downloaded another update that was 15.4MB. After that, problem is back.

Weird, must have been the hotfix. Maybe paradox changed the way the updates install? I'm not home now so don't know if 1.11.1 caused another slowdown for me.

Tried this but I dont think its made any difference for me. 1.9.2 was a really big improvement in performance but its slipped badly. No idea why.

I noticed extreme slowdowns only at around 1790 and onward. So I don't have too many problems, but it is odd how it so quickly escalates.
