Japan/Number of players

Japan is definitely needed. Also based on previous MP experience I strongly recommend to keep the number of players to 6 (all the majors) , 7 is a max..

More players means more connection/lag issues and difficulties in coordinating everybody's agendas, so that it then becomes quite hard to finish a game...

JG France can fall as early as 36 (if Germany is aggressive), what country will you take on after ? Canada or Australia can be a good choice...

Can everybody confirm that we start this game at 16:00 GMT (17:00 CET) on Saturday ?

What kinda house rules are you guys planning on using, I usually play with the DEG set of house rules, but I am flexible?

Manpower changes in 1.05c

Just to let you all know this is what the major powers start with:

Axis:
Germany 850 mp, with a monthly gain of 18,6 mp
Italy 460 mp, with a monthly gain of 24,4 mp
Japan 735, with a monthly gain of 19,9 mp

Allies:
UK 485 mp, with a monthly gain of 22,5 mp
USA 1280 mp, with a monthly gain of 39 mp
France 425 mp, with a monthly gain of 16,2

Soviet Union 1600 mp, with a monthly gain of 34,1
China 2170 mp, with a monthly gain of 20,9

Looks like mass vanilla inf armies are out.

Also gives you another good reason to build tac and dive bombers. One MP makes them a cheap alternative if up against the wall and in need some extra firepower.

Dag thanx for that, I was going ot mention it, but you did a great detail about manpower.


Everyone while it may not seem huge, it will be for many of the smaller countries, Italy will keep a close eye on it for one. And France now has, in my opinion, a very critical level of manpower, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Zero CG "EXPLOIT"

I would like to make sure that we all understand each other and anyone using the below "EXPLOIT" (there are actually other words for this, but lets remain courteous) stop doing it immediately.

Set the CG slider to max ... click on the map... now your dissent is reduced by a large percentage (somewhere between 0.1 and 0.2 percent per day). Now set CG to 0... As long as you dont click on the map, your dissent reduction remains and you need no consumer goods.

Tomar I seriously doubt you need to ask people not to cheat, but I suppose it doesn't hurt. Those that will cheat in the world won't care if you ask the not to and those intelligent humans who have a shred of decency wouldn't think of cheating.


And can you not post exploits, that's too much information.
