Game ruining bug....please help

Hello Everyone,

I was enjoying waking the tiger, having bought it yesterday, and was doing a united states playthrough all day today. I spent like 5+ hours at war with japan, and ended up changing their goverment for 1000+ political power in the peace conference after nuking them twice. They were then reborn as "The state of Japan" and china absorbed all of asia.

As I began to turn my armies towards europe, I recieved the message, "State of Japan has capitulated' suddenly, the entire country was annexed by germany.

What the fuck!!

Paradox ruined my 5 hour campaign before it was even over. Why on earth would germany annex them AFTER the peace conference??? Its not like they invaded the country or anything, they were fighting the soviets, plus it all capitulated at once to them.....

Im fucking angry, I wasted my day and now its all ruined. So much for a historical playthrough.

Im on ironman mode, am I fucked?

Happened to me but I was Germany. Playing historical focuses on I never invited Japan to the axis. They made their own. They were doing good and then gave up. Suddenly I owned Japan and was at war with the rest of their faction who were now in the Allies.

its such bullshit, makes no sense and ruined my game. I regret buying this dlc now, I dont wanna give paradox money for this shit.

Its not even fun either, I just get annihilated by Japan as China in every playthrough.

I have also seen one country owning another just out of the blue, for me I saw the leader of Sinkiang suddenly replace Mao taking his lands without a war and they aren't even bordered, I had no idea what happened but it happened.

They aren't annexed, they capitulated (you can notice Japanese Okinawa in the lower border of screen).
I believe happened something like this:
1. Bombings, nuking and governmental change made State of Japan stability and war readiness low as temperature in Helfheim.
2. They entered any war where Germans were enemy.
3. They were weakened beyond capitulation point.
4. They capitulated to the most powerful enemy.

That one is easy. They finished their communist tree and Mao complied to soviet demand to secede leadership as Chinese communists. Every warlord can do this.

This seems likely, however that should not be able to happen.... Thats ahistorical, illogical, and dumb.
