I recently installed the 1.8.0 patch and before that multiplayer worked fine, now though I can't connect to anything. Me and my friend have the same checksum but it says "game not found".

Both of you opt into the new 1.8.1 beta in the Steam beta tab please.
Then manually delete both your documents/paradox/eu4/gfx/ folders, and let the game recreate it.
