I own EU in his boardgame incarnation, but I think it would be really interesting to know more precisely how the rules are translated in the computer format. Are the PC game completely true to the game, or what are the changes which were done?

Additionaly it would be perhaps a good idea to post the complete EU rules so that people can familiarize more easily with the deeper aspects of the game.

This topic has been discussed exhaustively in previous threads.

In summary, the CG is not a straight conversion of the BG. For example, there are no 'war' events and no special national perks. Many idiotic rules from the BG have also been done away with (such as the one that states that only Russia can annex minor nations.)

Henrik, me old codger,

Methinks it is Russia and Turkey, yes? Either way, yes that is a silly rule, but I guess it works for the BG ;)
