When I start playing the game, my map comes up white and devoid of anything except country names and some unit details.
I saw this issue addressed in two ways:
1. Graphics card not good enough.
The graphics card requirements for EU4 and Crusader Kings 2 are identical. I have CK2 and it runs just fine.
2. Make an edit in setting.txt: "The first line is force_pow2_textures=yes. Change that "yes" to "no" and it should improve."
I attempted to do this but I can not find a "settings.txt" anywhere in the EU4 folder
nevermind. Found it in the other EU4 folder in documents.
Mods can delete this as answer is in other forum post. sorry.
