Next DD will be about characters so it may inform about any changes.
I'm ready to bet what Johan will write:
1. Character graphical presentation
2. Attributes of character (from age to stats)
3. Religion/culture and possible (but unlikely, IMO) gameplay mechanics behing it
4. Loyalty/corruption/wealth/prestige - desciption of modifiers.
If we will see something more then I'll be veru surprised. Just look at previous DD - only information for army was that there are several types of units. The same goes with other DD = many words, with very little meaning.
The whole political stuff is probably one of the main features of the game and will probably be the subject of a new round of previews and perhaps a conference showing further down the line. To keep the hype going PDS needs to have some new stuff to tell us about it at that and not having soiled everything in Dev diaries already.
Agree at some point to much is simply to much and at that point it may just be better to go back to the drawing board and look at what the core features should be and make a whole new game.I quite like the more board game like, clear cut approach they seem to be taking. EU4 is starting to suffer from far too much feature bloat will all kinds of systems that don't really fit together and are taped together.
It was a resource in EU: Rome so I would assume it will in Imperator as well. Will salt be a trade resource in the game?
As some have pointed out we are only at the 6th DD, and we still have many cool things to show you and it won't be a bare unfinished game (it's actually pretty complex if I might say so)! For the record, we do track your feedback and thoughts, and though your hype might dissipate, I'm personally happy to see that you guys are passionate about our games and pitching your thoughts on the forum!
Start by laying CK2 to rest and let us focus on the other games.
Look, the acknowledgement has been great. We're just exhausted from the unending monsoon of DLC's across the board. Start by laying CK2 to rest and let us focus on the other games. It's all just too damn much.
Im not sure but it seems like they have slowed down the DLC to make fewer of better quality.Speak for yourself. Holy Fury looks damn good. I really feel that PDS stepped up their game with respect to DLC's this past year. Not afraid to do some huge game restructuring if they feel it's necessary (stellaris), adding fan favourite mechanics (Hoi4 fuel), trying to make earlier added mechanics deeper by taking them into the base game (eu4 estates) and really revisiting the basics (ck2 crusades).
Holy Fury looks great, can't wait to get it, but eventually enough is enough.I'll say it that way: start with polishing Europe in CK2 enough, then lay CK2 to rest and let us focus on the other games![]()
