Singleplayer as UK, Ironman, Difficult
Ingame Date: Jul, 1939
Bug: Game Logic. Game works technical correctly, but has wierd logic outcome.
In this case, UK can never start the Nation Focus Tree of the Cryptologic Bomb --> Tizard Mission --> Maud --> Secret Weapons because WWII is over in Jul 1939 and a Democratic Germany is part of the Allies.
Minor Bug: German translation dont fit in text boxes in the tension overwiev: "Deutsches Reich hat Vereinigtes Königreich XXX ?" <-- Unreadable because outside the text box. Maybe XXX = "Kapituliert"
Minor Bug: Democratic Germany or Soviet Germay continues to works with dedicated Nazis, if they are set as counselors by the German Reich. Please correct it and fire them. --> Wish for a future DLC: Set a event chain in form of the "Nueremberg Trials"
What has happened before:
September 1938, Germany works on Czechoslovakia and wants Sudetenland. The UK supports Czechoslovakia and WWII has begun. This cost 200 Political Points, so UK decided not to start any new national focus.
World Tension rises into the 30ies or 40ies.
German troops (AI) have difficulties conquering Czechoslovakia. Allies do nothing.
Some months later Czechoslovakia still lives, the German Civil War event fires and Democratic Germany pops up. World Tension is in the 50ies --> UK cannot invite Demokratic Germany to the Allies, because 80% Tension are needed.
Uk gets military access to Germany and send its tiny handful of troops. The War was won by the UK and Czechoslovakia conquering most of Germany in July 1939. (Contribution List to War: France, UK and Czechoslovakia all about 30%)
Outcome:
No Peace conference was held. All Land goes to Democratic Germany (Not member of the Allies!). The German Reich doesn´t exist any more.
No gains for UK or Czechoslovakia. (logical correct, because Germany was now Democratic)
For no gains, UK causes over 60% World Tension ! Tension rises from ~55% to 100%. Please rethink.
And now, because the German Reich was completely replaced by Democratic Germany, the Cryptologic Bomb focus tree can never be started. (Prerequisite:Cryptologic Bomb Must be at war with German Reich, and Poland is not in a Faction with German Reich)
UK invites Democratic Germany to Allies.
Only menber of the Axis is Italy, which never was invited to the War.
You may say "shit happens" and the game logic functions as intended, but this was some wierd outcome.
It is obvious that Cryptologic Bomb focus needs another trigger, like a min year when you can begin to work on it or more war status checks with Russion or Japan.
