Game launching in upper left corner.

hello, this is my first post.
I recently purchased a new computer and installed some paradox games. When I launch stellaris in windowed mode the game appears only in the upper left corner of the screen, but otherwise functions normally, but it is hard to play because the display is so small. When I launched in fullscreen the game does not load and no display is visible, although I hear the opening music. I already tried the steps from the got a problem thread. I tried another game to see if it was a computer problem, but Victoria II works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I managed to fix the problem by changing the ui scaling, this managed to make it work in windowed mode.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/settings.txt and Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/logs/system.log files, thanks.

Please edit that settings.txt as follows (the bolded parts), which will set the game to your Windows desktop resolution:

    fullScreen=yes
    borderless=no
