Hi!

I'm trying to play C:S on my iMac but there is a really bad lag. I turned all video settings to low and it's a bit better, but still not acceptable.
My iMac has all the right requirements (see below) so I really don't know what the problem can be. If someone has an idea, please tell me! :)

iMac (21,5 inch, late 2012)
Processor: 2,7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB
OS X 10.10.2

Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem on my iMac as well, mine is the mid 2011 i5 with the Radion graphics card, the game is very laggy although it will get better and worse as the game progresses.

also, the screen is very dark, you can only just see the icons on it.

I thought that the performance was bad because my mac wasn't powerful enough however other mac users have reported thatwhen booting to windows in boot camp it is much better. I have also tried to run the game on my macbook air 2013, which is much less powerful and the game runs great.

So it seems that the issue is with the iMac graphics cards on OS X only.

Thats weird, I have the same specs except that I have Intel Iris Pro card, which is not supported and it works. So it must be problem with Nvidia, i guess, because everything else is the same in my late 2013 iMac.

Hey, so would you say it runs pretty well on your machine with those specs? or have you had to turn stuff down?
cheers

This game doesn't support Intel graphics. It may play for a few game tiles, but it will not fill up all 9-tiles of the game as designed, let alone the 25-tile unlock mod or 81-tile unlock mod.
