I recently changed my video card and I now have a pretty annoying issue with paradox games (or at least ck2 and eu4) where the game will freeze randomly for between 30s and 1 minute. Sometimes I can play for hours without it happening and other times it happens every few minutes. I can't do anything during those freezes, I can either wait or restart my computer (I can't even shut it down through the task manager).
As I said the problem seems to come and go but I haven't been able to play for the last few days because the game freezes every few minutes at least. I tried adding an exclusion for the ck2 and eu4 folders in avast but this didn't solve the problem. The problem doesn't occur when I do a specific action, it seems to be absolutely random.
Also, I have upgraded to Windows 10 recently (at about the same time I changed my gpu) so maybe this is what's causing the problem?
Here's a dxdiag.txt for my specs. I don't know what logs would be relevant to this issue so if you need to see one I'll upload it.
Thanks
