So my game just crashed. Tried to start it up again, got some kind of error from steam about cloud. Now My autosaves are gone and I'm forced to play with my old save from 60 years ago. Also, saving to cloud crashes me every single time. I had no problems before the patch, any ideas?

Can you remember what the Steam message was? Also if you close the game, restart Steam and then try again, what is the result?

It was some kind of error with cloud. I can't exactly remember the message.. probably the reason why my game keeps crashing if I try to save to cloud.
I've tried the thing you mentioned but it doesn't work unfortunately.

Have you looked for local copies of the Ironman saves? Their file location is documented in a Bug Reports sticky thread.
