Game is stuttering on anything other than normal speed after installing Megacorp.

I was only about 5-10 years into my game before it started stuttering as well. I've never had performance issues before in the late game. Pretty much the same problem

By 2450 the game was so completely unplayable that we decided to quit our multiplayer event

I suggest everyone posts a comment in there and hopefully it'll get prioritized. This is unplayable.

I had no problem up to 2400 last night, don't know what could be different. Ran smooth as could be with barely any slowdown like it used to as well.

I've heard fullscreen fixes the issue but my game just crashes in fullscreen everytime

Same here, its pretty bad and consistent. I have also noticed loading times for the game have significantly increased.

I think I have the same problem. The stuttering is noticeable when I used my keys or move the mouse pointer to the edge of my screen to scroll around however, for whatever reason, I do not notice any stuttering when I use the middle mouse button or mouse well. Are you guys experiencing the same issue?

The game seems to slow down my whole computer. I like to alt-tab a lot and do other things.
When I try this when Stellaris is running video doesn't play properly. It becomes a slide show. I have never had this problem with any other game. The weird thing is that it isn't like my system is using much CPU or memory.
It's bizarre, I have never seen anything like it.

Yep, having the same issue, also can't try and fix it with full screen as i just get the black screen on startup.
My friend and i managed to play for a few hours yesterday without the day stutter, but it randomly just started up in our second game.

Only got this issue after my game hit the midgame, about 2350. Now it's unironically literally unplayable as I get half-second freezes every game tick, no matter how slow the clock is. I was so hyped for this update but this is sadly terrible.

Really odd that everyone reporting this now. I have had this for several patches. It's pretty much always been in the game???

My loading times seem longer as well. And it used to run really well on my computer.

My suspicion is that it’s not a priority bug to fix because it’s still playable on normal.
