That's the dumbest reason to be against something. If paradox decided to just remove SP from all their future games, MP players can just tell SP players to **** off because "they don't play SP, so there's no reason to be upset about it".

Yea I don't see why MP players would have to be outraged about that, it would be the SP gamers that would be outraged and would have to stand up for themselves. Don't be surprised people aren't outraged when it has no impact on them.

lo, spot on, I too have complained many times about hotjoin not working but as demonstrated with the 1.8 patch it is evident Paradox does not even play their own games with the amount of bugs and shit plagueing the game atm

Relatively few people play multiplayer. And from what I hear multiplayer is so unstable in general that this is a minor concern.

Looks like you have the personality type that is 'rare'. It's common 101, for developers to act upon problems in this case it's the hotjoining functionality that has never worked. This can only be done when a large portion of the community lets their voice be heard through complaints, reports etc. I find it idiotic how can honestly shit-talk those that are trying to push for Paradox to fix the problem they advertised would work since day 1.

Well, you should be aware that the guy which goes OOS after hotjoin will crash inevitably. Which means you have to hotjoin him in again, resulting in yet again another OOS.

Again not true, although argueably with 1.8 less people having been playing multiplayer due to the game being plagued with bugs atm. However in 1.7 multiplayer games were the go pretty much every large gaming community did them.

What are you basing this assertion on? I'm guessing that this is only your own personal experience.

To proclaim the dominance of multiplayer is to buy into the same fallacious line of reasoning as others who have asserted that Paradox Games are only intended to be played as singleplayer because that is how they experienced Paradox Games in the past. i.e This is how I personally play, therefore all focus which distracts from this is bad.
