Hi,
I just did a clean install of Windows 10 a week ago. Every game I normally play works fine. I can't get CSL to work, though. I had moved it to my extra hard drive while I wiped my boot drive, so I wouldn't have to download it again, then moved it back and had Steam verify it. Problems all around. The menus all appear transparent-ish, my mouse jumps all over the place, the icon in the taskbar keeps reappearing (jumping around) like the program is opening constantly every time I click, and trying to place or destroy anything causes the game to lag, then everything freezes. Sound freezes, and I have to manually restart my whole PC to do anything.
I have no idea what could be going on. I tried copying over CSL again from my hard drive. Same problems. Tried running it without mods. Same problem. Tried completely wiping CSL and reinstalling it. Same problem. Tried disabling Steam Overlay. Same problem. Temps are fine, I'm 99% sure it's the game and not my PC.
Has anyone experienced this? This was my favorite game and I really want to play it again.

Edit: After browsing through this forum a bit, I've found this picture which perfectly explains the 'transparent menu' problem. I'll try forcing DX9 but I will report back if this fixes the crashing problem...
