The EU IV team doesnt have the power of hindsight that all of us armchair developers have. Thats how that happens.

Someone thought this project would take x month. And then it took more month and other plans (new studio, vacation, not dying to the plague) started to interfere with production. Which slowed it down further.

And while "just delay it until its ready!" sounds like a sensible thing to say, Johan has posted multiple time, why that is just not a thing when you are not steam or Blizzard or GoG (guys with their own platform).

Or in other words: if you want to play paradox games bug "free", just dont buy them when they have to release them. Buy them, when you think they are ready.

No. Every customer has the right to complain about perceived poor service. I have certainly voiced my opinion over the years. But after numerous threads and countless posts repeating the same thing, I suspect the opinions have been noted.

PDS has their reasons for their actions, whether we like them or not. Companies only change when there is a threat to their bottom line. So far that hasn't happened, judging from sales.

Genuine question as I'm playing on 1.29 due to the bugs reported in this forum: My impression from the patch notes is that 1.30.4 beta fixes the AI debt spiral and AI building stupid amount of coastal defence.
What are the most glaring issues that still remain?
