Game freezes

Just like many others, my game just starts to freeze repeatedly. I played fine until about 1530 or so, now it freezes every couple of months. I reload and it just does it randomly over and over every couple of months, although I never had any other issues or crashes at all. Patch 1.4.

So I wonder...is anything being done about these freezes? Seems I am not the only one who is reporting it, and I have not seen any replies or information regarding any possible fix. Game is unplayable for me now.

I have no information about it at the moment but I hope to be able to provide a hotfix ASAP.

I was part of the beta for the game and ironically never came across a freeze. Other bugs for sure, but never a freeze. In 1.4 freezes have happened a few times and are the only bugs I am running into.

i do have the same problem.

i have Win 7 64 bit on a intel i7, running sengoku 1.04 and i am in my late game close to winning.
the game freezes every few couple of months. i have to go to the task manager and kill it.

i read the linked thread too, but this does not seem to have been solved until now,
is there a fix underway or anything i can do?

this is quite frustrating as i cannot "win" my game this way, needing to save-and-reload every couple of months....

We are working on providing a hot-fix ASAP. You could try to execute the command "kill 10662", to kill the character that causes your freeze.

thank you for your advice. however it does not work for me. when i try to execute the command "kill 10662", the game will freeze immediately.
so I will wait for the hot-fix then
