game freezes.

i notice like two or three hours into game play. (or it could be a certain date. not sure which) the whole game freezes.

if load up my auto save it gets back to around that same time and then freezes again.

any ideas how to fix?

Have you applied the 2.2 patch? If not, check for the NoCultureGroup bug in http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=387866

Im running rome gold wit patch 2.2 and I have the same issue, it has to do with barbarians taking control of a region. The only solution i have found is to play the older autosave and hope history doesnt repeat itself.
