Game Freezes when naming character

The screen freezes when I try to input a character name during the character creation. Please help I would like to play this game.

I'd like to confirm the following to be sure I'm understanding the issue:

1. This is the screen you are stuck on:
   
   
2. The dust and other effects in the scene stop animating?
3. The 'Next' button is grayed out (as in the screenshot above)?
4. What sort of keyboard are you using? are you using a non-standard layout? i.e. a language other than english?

1. Yes that is the screen
2. Yes the animation stops, the music continues to play
3. Yes the next is greyed out
4. I am using a wireless Bluetooth keyboard from Microsoft. I am using an English set up.

Unfortunately we have not figured out why this is happening yet. Is it safe to assume that you're still seeing the same issue on the latest patch?
