Game doesn't work.

I just bought and downloaded the game on Steam from Humble Bundle. I installed it and started the game but it doesn't work. It gets to a launcher menu but there's white boxes everywhere. When I press play game it comes up with an error and asks me if I want ignore it. When I press contine nothing happens. Here is the error log.

The only thing that works for me in this game is the register button. I hope I can get this fixed as I really loved EU3.
Also if I verify game cache it makes it worse. Instead of getting to the launcher it just crashes right off the bat...

I suggest checking tech support forum (which you should see because you have CKII registered). There are advices to most common problems and I recommend reposting this there if it's not among the common issues. These threads are often closed in main forum.

Have you tried the repair options of steam? Looks like there might be a missing file, steam should be able to get this fixed .
